My name is Adam Hodgson and I’m a freelance creator based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Ever since I picked up my first camera at thirteen, my passion for photography and videography has continued to grow. Since then, my love for the great outdoors and adventures has allowed me to develop my craft and passion. I have a Bachelor of Design in Photography and am now working on my own freelance business, as well as for other photographers in Christchurch.

The problem solving and creative aspects of photography are what keeps me inspired in all the content I work on. I have produced a wide range of video and image types both personally and professionally. Along the way, I have learnt a huge amount about my craft from working with some fantastic photographers.

My philosophy is that being a photographer isn’t just about taking great photos; it’s about providing a professional, friendly service and creating images that are backed with research and purpose. I am passionate about producing captivating video and image content with design attributes that match each client’s individual needs, and that tell engaging stories to the target audience. I enjoy building strong collaborative relationships with clients and having some laughs along the way.
